How the program works

Who are the Achev participants?

Participants are internationally educated in IT or Finance who have 1-5 years of work experience seeking to upskill themselves to be job ready for in-demand roles across the fintech ecosystem. Participants leave the learning process with:

Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analysis

In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, decentralized finance and digital assets

Machine learning skills using Python, having used real-world examples

A program built by Achev, in partnership with Employment and Social Development Canada, The Raymond Change School of Business at TMU and Lighthouse Labs, to develop job-ready workers through training and a remote employer-led project. It is an opportunity for employers seeking to connect with highly skilled workers in the field of finance and information technology and build their talent pipeline, powered by Riipen.

Mark Projects Complete

With the completion of your project, learners will meet their capstone requirement within the Achev: Innovations in Fintech Program. You are developing job-ready workers who can fill key in-demand fintech roles and support a competitive and resilient Canadian economy. All you have to do is review their final submission, provide feedback, and mark the project as complete.

Most Canadian employers are already eligible

Achev provides accessible internships to support a more inclusive and thriving technology workforce.
