What type of projects can I post?
Employers can post projects where students gather data and identify inefficiencies in their manufacturing process. You will get detailed reports and analyses on machine downtime, disorganization, quality control, changeover timing, technology use, and workplace layout. Learners will use Lean tools to create process maps and present improvement recommendations in a detailed report and group presentation.
What is the Advanced Manufacturing program?
Connecting to Careers in Advanced Manufacturing is an upskilling program funded by Upskill Canada (powered by Palette Skills) and the Government of Canada. This program helps mid-career workers to launch or advance their career within the advanced manufacturing sector. This program responds to the advanced manufacturing sector’s urgent need for skilled technicians and positions program participants at the forefront of a high-demand, dynamic industry.
Post a project by using our template library and provide details of everything you need to get assessed and streamlined in your manufacturing process. This could be as detailed as possible to get the most comprehensive outcome within 40 hours.
How do I get the most out of this for my business?
Get access to the skills and expertise of Humber College students trained in Lean Manufacturing techniques and equipped to identify and eliminate process delays & inefficiencies, helping you save time, energy, and resources to reduce operational costs—all within 40 hours and at no cost to you.
