How it works

What is the Per Scholas IT Support program?

The Per Scholas IT Support program is a skills-training initiative designed to advance economic mobility by preparing individuals for high-demand careers in IT. This pilot program focuses on learners in North Carolina, providing them with hands-on, industry-aligned training in IT support, system administration, and related fields. By equipping graduates with essential technical skills and professional development, the program connects talent with job opportunities locally in North Carolina and remotely across the United States. Per Scholas believes that a thriving workforce begins with equitable access to quality education and career pathways.

What type of projects can I post?

You can post real-world IT challenges that align with Per Scholas learners’ training. These projects can involve troubleshooting hardware or software issues, configuring networks, setting up secure systems, or managing IT service workflows using tools like ServiceNow. You may also engage learners in providing multi-platform support across Windows, Linux, and macOS. By working on these hands-on tasks, learners will apply their expertise in diagnostics, system setup, and documentation, all while contributing to your organization’s IT operations.

How do I get the most out of this for my business?

Post a project using our template library and provide details of everything you need to get assessed and streamlined in your manufacturing process. This could be as detailed as possible to get the most comprehensive outcome within 40 hours.

Empower North Carolina learners to gain valuable tech experience while they contribute to solving your real-world business challenges.
